Houston, TX, March 24, 2025  – As the gardening industry’s innovation leader, Vego Garden has been committed to empowering local communities and underprivileged individuals through its Giving Back Program. Continuing to gain momentum throughout 2024 and this year, the program is offering support to key community organizations with more new alliances formed. We stand proud of these continued efforts that have contributed to social change, as we continue our quest to give back in 2025. 

With corporate social responsibility as our core value, Vego Garden supports non-profit, social, charitable, and educational projects in the communities where we operate. Last year, the Giving Back Program provided garden bed donations to a total of 208 organizations. We will showcase some highlights from the project updates received from organizations in March of this year - giving back for the common good. 

More New Alliances Forged 

As in previous months, we partnered with a variety of community organizations to give back and serve the underprivileged. One of these organizations is Children's Ark Development Center, the licensed daycare and Preschool division of Springfield Christian Academy. The NGO’s nurseries, daycare facilities, and preschool classrooms are staffed by well-trained workers committed to the learning potential of each child.

We donated three 32" Extra Tall 9 in 1 Modular Metal Raised Garden Bed Kits to the non-profit group, which are used to educate and inspire children through gardening activities.

We also supported the work of Trinity Fellowship Church in March, a Texas-based church devoted to worship and serving to share the love of Christ. Vego Garden donated two 32" Extra Tall 9 in 1 Modular Metal Raised Garden Bed Kits , which are used in classes to teach community members to grow their own food, as well as to supply food to food pantries in their area.

Windsor Locks Public Library, Inc provides equal access to resources and services that enhance the intellectual, creative, and leisure development of the Windsor Locks community. They received two 17'' Tall 10 in 1 Modular Raised Garden Bed Kits and a 32" Extra Tall 10 in 1 Modular Raised Garden Bed Kit from us, which served as educational tools for aspiring horticulturists of all ages to gain hands-on gardening experience.

We joined hands with Geneva Heights Elementary, a school that aims to be a home for world changers who work cooperatively, demonstrate mindfulness, and create positive change. The school’s mission is to develop well-rounded students through an integrated, inquiry-based curriculum that will expand their creativity, promote respect for the global community, and cultivate reflective thinkers. 

Vego Garden donated two 17'' Tall 10 in 1 Modular Raised Garden Bed Kits to provide their students with hands-on gardening opportunities. The school developed a comprehensive gardening curriculum for teachers and staff, and every class from PK4 to 5th grade has the opportunity to get outdoors and learn about the impact of nature. 

Another school that benefited from our donations is La Primaria Garden Club, which is committed to intellectual, social, and personal growth, as well as high standards of performance for all students within a caring and safe environment.

We donated a 11" Tall 4 in 1 Small Modular Metal Raised Garden Bed Kit and two 11" Tall 10 in 1 Jumbo Modular Metal Raised Garden Bed Kits, used to plant herbs, onions, and perennials to beautify areas of the school that need attention. They plan to create a courtyard that will provide a quiet environment for teachers, students, and parents to visit when they need to relax, have snacks, or meet with the principal.

An Ongoing Pledge 

With our unwavering dedication to serving local communities, the Giving Back Program continues to drive change and encourage communal growth. Continuing from last year’s progress, we stand together as a company focused on the therapeutic power of gardening. 

The ultimate goal of the Giving Back Program is to empower and give back to the communities, and as we continue this quest in 2025, we look forward to partnering with more influential organizations, to provide more support to meaningful community initiatives, as well as strengthen our commitment to corporate social responsibility.
