With the large volume measurement capacity, this flow meter is a great helper for many different yard & gardening tasks. For example, if you're filling a swiming pool, check the volume of your pool, set a slightly smaller volume on the flow meter, and fill your pool without worrying about overfilling.
When watering with a lawn sprinkler, we recommend the 500-600L setting.
Monthly Water Use
The Flow Meter can help you track your monthly water consumption by measuring the amount of water that flows through the meter.
Turn to set a large volume such as 1200 GAL on the 1st day of the month. The dial will turn when the water is flowing. Then check the dial at the end of the month, subtract from the starting number, & you'll be left with your monthly water consumption.

Can the flow meter fit with any taps?
The fitting is 3/4", it fits with most of the tap and garden hose in US.
Can the flow meter attach to tool end?
Yes, it can, you can attach the flow water to tool end and connect with the hose. However, pay attention to the direction, the flow meter will be installed upside down to ensure the correct water flow direction.
Can I use the flow meter on a Rain Barrel Water Tank?
It depends on the water pressure; we do not recommend because the pressure is not consistent and stable in water tank.
How can I preserve the flow meter in the winter months?
Thoroughly drain the flow meter to prevent damage when dealing with freezing temperatures in winter.
Why does my flow meter never seem to stop?
The calculation of the flow meter is based on the water flow rate, with time scale serving only as a reference. Since water flow is related to water pressure, if the water pressure is low and the flow is slow, the actual stop time of the flow meter will be longer than what is estimated on the dial. The flow meter will stop only when the actual total water flow reaches the set value. When setting the flow meter, prioritize the water flow rate (liters or gallons) indicated on the outer ring of the dial, with the time scale as a secondary reference.
